Our Power Hour Consultation Service is designed to cater to your immediate design needs or be your starting point for any project. This service is a content-packed 1-Hour Q&A, led by you as our expert Principal Designer, Jaimie Belew, navigates you through any design questions you may have.

With this consultation, you’ll get quick, helpful, and actionable design advice. You’ll unlock the missing pieces of the design puzzle as we’ll distill down years of experience & expertise, giving you the advice & answers you need - instantly!

The most important thing to know is YOU are in the driver’s seat. You decide your design priorities, how to use the time, and what questions to cover.

The investment for a Power Hour is $550.00.

  • The process is simple!

    Schedule your Power Hour via the booking link above. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a Zoom invitation link for your scheduled time slot.

    Before your session, be sure to organize your questions, any images, documents, etc. in a screen-shareable format so they are readily accessible for a smooth discussion.

    During your session, you’ll guide the conversation through screen sharing (if necessary). You’ll walk us through your visuals while discussing your questions & needs.

    There is no set structure for the consultation - you are in the driver’s seat. My goal is to make consultation collaborative and tailored to your specific needs.

  • The short answer is No. Power Hour is a limited service that takes place entirely during your 1-Hour session via Zoom. This service does not include any pre- or post- follow up from JBID. However, you are encouraged to share your screen to walk through any images or documents you want discuss during your session.

  • Write down a list of questions / topics you want to cover. We suggest organizing them in order of most to least importance (to you). That way we can be sure to hit your top priorities first and get your most important questions answered.

    We strongly suggest you save any & all images, documents, etc. in a screen-shareable format that are easily accessible to share during your Power Hour.

    We use Zoom for all Power Hour virtual session. Be sure you have the most up-to-date version of Zoom downloaded.

    We also suggest testing your camera & microphone on whichever device you plan to use during the session ensuring both function properly prior to the start of your session.

  • Yes - of course! Our goal is to fill your 1-Hour session with as much content as possible. We do allow you to record the meeting so that you can save to review & revisit as much as you want later on.

  • Yes - feel free to invite whomever you’d like to join. If multiple decision-makers are participating in the Power Hour session, we find it’s best to have reviewed and discussed your top priority questions together in advance. That we can move through your questions efficiently to cover as much content as possible within the hour.

  • Yes! The purpose of this service is to provide extra guidance or answer any questions you may have on your design project. It can be used (or repeated) at any step of the design process.

  • Power Hour booking fees are one-time, non-refundable payments for each 1-hour session. No refunds will be provided for cancellations.

    Rescheduling is permitted up to 72-hours in advance. Power Hour sessions may be reschedule a maximum of 1-time within 30 days of the original booking date & based on current availability. Beyond that, your session will be canceled without refund.

  • Jaimie Belew will distill down years of education & experience to guarantee you receive quality & actionable feedback to your design questions. However, how you choose to implement the the suggestions & advice is entirely up to you. We cannot assume responsibility for how to proceed with the information provided.
